Irini Mavroyanaki (Eirini Mavrogiannaki) was born in Heraklion of Crete in 1993. She studied composition at the Ionian Univeristy (bachelor studies) and Anton Bruckner University in Austria (master studies). Her book "Flute Extended Techniques: A Guide for Composers" was published by Scholars' Press Publish House. Eirini has collaborated with the concert Hall of Thessaloniki, has attended many seminars in composition and won the second prize in creative writing from "Psychogios Publications". She has composed music for ensembles, one work for Orchestra, two string quartets, numerous works for solo instruments and five works based on performance art combining music with image, painting, poetry and theatre.
